I put a deposit on it! I was planning to wait until after the PPI, but I slept on it for three nights and decided that I would be more upset if the car was bought while I was trying to make a decision, than if I put the deposit down and have to get it back because there is something glaring on the PPI. Ah good - now I don’t have to murder you in a fit of jealous rage. I can simply be jealous :). Are you going to cull the herd to make room for the 997?
I passed on an Arctic silver over black cab about 5 years ago. Didn’t want a cab, so I didn’t buy it. Still should’ve. Hope your PPI works out!

Not right away but yes. I have a colleague who’s going to buy the S3 but that may not be for a few weeks. So if everything works out, there will be a short period of time where I have M3, S3, Ranger, Grom, Forester, and 911 in my one lane drive way that only fits 4 cars. I’ll have to get some pics of all of them before the Audi goes.
Agree on convertibles. I bought the M3 when I was 22 before I recognized the performance, weight, and maintenance sacrifices you make with a ragtop. I love it and it’s not going anywhere, but I wasn’t even considering a convertible or targa on a 911.

Yes, I will definitely miss it, but it’s worth the most and I have an easy sale with it.
It would probably make more sense to sell the M3, but I just can’t do it. I love it, I’ve got almost 12 years and 18k in receipts invested, and there were times early on where I would make the payment and divide $40 by the number of days until I got paid again! On top of all that I bought the car when I young and headed down a path that would get me nowhere. Buying it turned me right around as I now had something besides rent and partying to occupy my time and money.
